Oct. 31, 2011, suddenly because of the work of heritage researching, for a short time, the fence in three intersection was taken down. We were so thirsty to see Gureombi without the fence. Here was once the "Oley 7 course". We had been walking through this place to Gureombi everyday.
The dog Jungdoek finally could also walk in a land where the view of Jundoek beach could be watched. However, Jungdoek still couldn't take a walk with his father since he is still in jail because of being honest, brave, and determined to face a ridiculous government and a crazy world.
That was a emotional moment to see Jungdoek beach inside of the fence. This beautiful woman with tears was crying when watching Gureombi beside me. It was like watching a desert. Before reaching Gureombi, it was once full of bushes, grass, and farm, but in this time, I could only see the soil like dead desert. She said she was feeling ashamed because she failed to keep Gureombi...
The workers kept asking us to stay away and at the same time the crane tore down another living tree in front of us. This beautiful woman couldn't help but crying out "that is a living tree, that is a life! How can you demolish a life that easy? If you want to kill it, why don't you remove it?"
I was feeling very sorry because some of the workers were laughing at her action. Maybe it's out of their understanding of how much one person can be sensitive about a life or any creature with spirit.
This is absolutely a beautiful crazy world, but why some people seem to show that they were born as "normal" people which is not true!
If more people agree that they are just crazy, then the world gonna be different from before. Why people don't see how crazy they are? I really wonder.
ps. When I first met this sensitive lady, I was drawing a picture alone under the street light of Gureombi in the deep night. She drove a car passing me, but seemed like worrying about me being alone in the dark night, so she asked me "are you okay?" I answered "yeah, I am just drawing." Yes, I was just enjoying the spirit and the inspiration that this beautiful nature bring to me. I saw many people enjoyed the same thing in this same place.
It was too dark to see her face so I could't recognize her until she reminded me this encountering with the description of my drawing she saw at that time. "the drawing with two stick men"...
I remember vividly the silent night with the sound of wave which makes the night even more silent.
I enjoyed it, and I guess this beautiful lady must be one of them who got touched by the nature and people's heart, so that she felt painful when seeing the terrible destruction happening.
How can people laugh at her crying? I really don't know.
